Where, When, How (can I help)

The Triangle Curling Club is moving. Since 1995, we have bounced around the Triangle area to different hockey arenas to play at times controlled by others. It is now time to have a place of our own on curling not hockey ice.

We plan to break ground soon so we will be open for a 2014-15 curling season.

We are very happy to have found a more central location for our current and future members. We believe this location will help us with recruiting and retention.

Our curling facility will be located in Durham, North Carolina (within RTP) at 2310 So-Hi Drive

We have secured loans for ice equipment and our building. We need help with those loans and to fund basic amenities within the building.

Moving Forward: Goal Dedicated Ice Fall 2014

Current Status - Updated 2/6/2014

 

• Closed on the bank loan with BB&T - 2/6/2014
• Held meeting with club members to report on current progress - 1/26/2014
• Purchased land and had it successfully re-zoned by the City of Durham.
• Site engineering plans have been submitted to the city for approval.
• We have selected a contractor and an ice equipment supplier.
